Wasundara Herath

H.M.S. Wasundara Herath is a dedicated psychological counselor and social worker with over five years of experience delivering trauma-informed interventions and community development programs in Sri Lanka. I’m designing mental health initiatives for underserved groups. Previously, at Women in Need in Badulla, I provided counseling and advocacy for women affected by domestic violence. I hold a bachelor’s degree in social work (hons) and a postgraduate diploma in psychological counseling and am pursuing a master’s in criminal justice and correction. Certified in gender-based violence advocacy and skilled in data analysis, ‘I’m fluent in English and Sinhala, fostering impactful connections with diverse communities.
